Yi X.Chen, CPA

Yi has been a certified public accountant since 2011 and has over 10 years of accounting experience. She graduated from Kaimuki High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing. She has previous experience in public accounting, particularly with the construction industry. She also has experience in internal audits.

She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the Hawaii Association of Public Accountants (HAPA).

In her spare time, she likes to cook and watch football.

M. Lawrence Ono, CPA, CCIFP

Larry has been a certified public accountant since 2003 and has over 25 years of accounting experience. He started his accounting career in public accounting. He ventured out to San Francisco, CA, to broaden his experience in accounting before returning to Hawaii in 2005. He has previous experience in public and private accounting.

He is a graduate of Iolani School and University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting. He is a member of the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants (HSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Hawaii Association of Public Accountants (HAPA), and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).

In his spare time, he likes to watch University of Hawaii sports and peruse construction-related accounting articles.
